Partnership, Solutions and Wine at NEXT
During the NEXT conference in Dallas from February 23 – 25, women leaders across the real estate industry gathered at The Ritz Carlton to network, share competitive insights and learn from one another. Carlie Smith and Jessica Hornbeck — Senior Account Executives at Amrock — were glad for the opportunity to discuss industry trends at the Women’s Executive Mortgage Summit. They even brought enough wine for everyone.
Amrock’s sponsored wine bar helped attendees unwind after their sessions and served as a cozy venue to discuss business needs. Large themes at the event were expediting the title process and cutting down costs for lenders. How can lenders and providers translate technological progress into a faster, easier process for their clients and partners? When it comes to Amrock, Carlie thinks that building a rapport is what allows the company’s industry-leading technology to work best.
“Relationships are a key part of aligning teams and services to create an amazing customer experience,” said Carlie. “We already have the most tech-driven and scalable title services. We just want a chance to show you. Once you reach out and tell us how we can help, the sky’s the limit.”
Another big theme throughout the night was industry collaboration; most real estate professionals agree that stronger partnerships are needed for progress. How can companies unite to foster market-improving technology or have a stronger voice with government agencies? Jessica believes that the first step toward change is working together, learning about one another and understanding what each company brings to the table.
“Some were surprised to know Amrock partners independently with more than 250 lenders,” said Jessica. “We love working with anyone to find better solutions for them. Many of us arrived with assumptions that were disproven just by having a glass of wine together.”
