Laura Miller Wins MMLA Rising Star Award

Amrock is excited to announce that the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA) has awarded Laura Miller, our Director of Business Partnerships, with the Rising Star Award! According to MMLA, this prestigious designation is given to the “Rising Stars” of the Michigan mortgage industry who stand out in their commitment, impact, accolades and philanthropic accomplishments. For her teammates this comes as no surprise — throughout Laura’s eight years at Amrock, she has worn many hats and excelled in every role, winning numerous internal awards and the respect of her peers.

As Director of Business Partnerships, Laura transforms the way Amrock engages with mortgage brokers by continuously improving core operations based on feedback and data insights. With her ability to drive constant optimization of Amrock’s processes, she is essential to achieving the company’s goal of driving broker clients’ business forward. By empowering brokers with the knowledge to use the latest technology in real estate, her team reduced closing delays significantly, and bolstered satisfaction among those brokers and their clients alike.

Laura is not only a leader and driving force for positive change, but she also leverages opportunities within Amrock to give other team members a voice through company-wide initiatives. She believes that all ideas are important when creating the best experiences for clients and uses her influence to make the company, and the industry, better as a whole.

Outside of the office, Laura is also a leader in her community and is actively involved with philanthropic events throughout the city of Detroit. She routinely participates in company food  drives and volunteers her time to those in need, while also encouraging her fellow team members to do the same.
