Sale of Personal Information: State privacy laws require certain disclosures for companies that "sell" personal information pursuant to the respective state's privacy law. Each state defines the "sale" of data differently. In California, the "sale" of data means certain scenarios in which a business shares personal information with third parties in exchange for valuable consideration. Other states define the "sale" of data as the exchange of personal information for monetary consideration with a non-affiliated third party.

Under the state privacy law definitions, we do not "sell" your personal information.

Sharing of Personal Information for Advertising Purposes:
State privacy laws require certain disclosures for companies that "share” personal information pursuant to the respective state’s privacy law. Understate privacy laws, “sharing” means that a business makes available or otherwise discloses information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Further, “cross-context behavioral advertising” means targeting of advertising based on personal information obtained from activity across businesses, websites, apps, and services other than our Services. “Cross-contextual behavioral advertising” is also referred to as “targeted” advertising.

We do not engage in cross-contextual behavioral/targeted advertising. We therefore do not “share” your personal information, as defined by state privacy laws.

Your Consumer Rights

As a resident of certain states, subject to certain limitations, you are entitled to certain rights regarding your data.

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:

Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative of same.

Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm that the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION:

If you are a California resident, you have the right to limit our processing of your Sensitive Personal Information to only uses which are necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average consumer who requests such goods or services. We already limit our processing of Sensitive Personal Information accordingly. When we collect your Sensitive Personal Information, we collect and use that information to perform the services or provide the goods for which that information is necessary and as reasonably expected by you.

Under other state privacy laws, we are only permitted to collect certain pieces of Sensitive Personal Information after we have obtained your consent to do so. Where required, we get your agreement to collect and use Sensitive Personal Information.
